Casting

+ The fittings are made from Black Heart malleable cast iron grade B 350-10 according to EN 1562 and the analysis for all molten metal before casting is performed by Spectro lab. The casting is produced in automatic forming lines to guarantee efficiency & consistent quality.

Hot Dip Galvanization

+ Galvanization , the protection against rust , is performed according to EN 10242 and the used zinc is checked & controlled by Spectro lab. The average zinc layer thickness is about 70 micron.

Machining

+ The threading & turning is achieved according to ISO 7-1 & ISO 7-2 & ISO 228-1 & ISO 228-2 and the thread is controlled according to ISO 7-1 & ISO7-2 & ISO 228-1 & ISO 228-2.

+ 100% of the fittings are tested with the pneumatic 6 bar compressed air under water equivalent to 20 bar hydraulicleakage test according to EN 10424 & ISO 49.

Washing & Varnishing

+ The limited protection against rust is performed according to EN & ISO , and the varnishing is free from aromatic hydrocarbons. INFIT fittings can therefore be installed in water pipelines without any harm to the health of the customer.

+ INFIT fittings up to size 1” are first packed in plastic bags , sizes from 1 1⁄4 ” & larger are packed without plastic bags before being sorted in carton boxes with labels enclosed to specify the type and size of the fittings. Each carton is also stamped with the packing date for traceability.
